Renault Megane facelift revealed

Facelifted Renault Megane has been unveiled before its debut at the Frankfurt motor show.

Hatchback, coupe and estate models of the car now sport all new family front-end bumper of Renault, a style which was first seen on the new Clio.

There are very few other cosmetic changes. Renault, however, has confirmed that a new 128bhp 1.2-litre TCe 130 petrol engine will be added to the range for the facelift, which will be paired with Renault's EDC dual-clutch gearbox.

Inside customers get less trim and equipment tweaks, while Renault's R-Link infotainment system has also been added.

The car will be shown along with other Renault models, including a new concept car teased yesterday.
